Wordish is a word puzzle for iPhone with a quirky sense of fun. A simple pleasure to fill quiet moments when you need a bit of a distraction.
Puzzle out as many words as you can from the given letters. Play at your own pace, no pressure. No time limit. Some puzzles are long, some are short. A new puzzle comes along every day.
Aficionados of spelling bees, crossword puzzles, trivia word games, and daily puzzles will feel right at home.
• Create words using the given seven letters. Words must have four or more letters and include the key letter. You can use letters more than once.
• Score points to increase your rank. 4-letter words are worth 1-point, longer words earn one point per letter. Puzzles include at least one pangram (words using every letter) which are worth double points. Ranks are based on a percentage of points scored in a puzzle.
NO ADVERTS, NO DATA MINING
No ads, ever. You won't waste your time or cell data on ads. We don’t collect any data.
WORD LIST
A game word list of about 77,000 words curated by the dictionary already on your iPhone. Your choice of either UK or US English.
STATISTICS & HINTS
For when you want them, statistics for win average, overall rank, and streaks. Hints in the form of a letter distribution grid and two-letter list.
THEMES
Themes in light and dark modes.
CONTEXT ACTIONS
Look up definitions for missed words. Share missed or found words. Or share a summary of your solved puzzle.
PUZZLE TIMER
We have a timer (in minutes, lol), which you can turn off.
PLAYABLE OFFLINE
Play on the tube, on an epic trip in another country, or deep in the backcountry—no cell reception needed.
